Accessibility
The Carse Medical is fully accessible for wheelchairs. We have a fully functioning disabled bathroom. If you require any assistance when you are in the surgery, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of staff.
Baby Friendly
We support breastfeeding within the practice. You are welcome to do this during your consultation if your baby is distressed you will also be offered a private room if you require this before or after your appointment.
Chaperones
The Carse Medical, operates a NHS Tayside chaperone policy, you should be offered a chaperone for any intimate examination, please do not hesitate to ask for one at any time if required.
Quality Assurance
We run regular audits at the practice in order to make sure that we are maintaining a good medical practice. Being a teaching practice, we are regularly inspected and audited by the universities.
Removal of Patients from our list
We do not remove patients from our list unless there has been a serious event. This would usually involve something similar to physical violence to staff, a threat or abusive behaviour, criminal damage to the surgery or theft and defamation of doctors and/or staff. We will not allow any of our staff to feel threatened while they are at their work.
Social Media
If patients have any concerns regarding the practice, we would encourage you to contact us directly either via one of the partners or the practice manager. It is not helpful to post derogatory, defamatory or offensive comments on social media.
